We charge a very reasonable $49 fingerprint rolling fee for each Live Scan and we are also required to collect and forward the applicable State and/or FBI fees based on the type of Live Scan requested.
For our customers that need traditional Ink Card Fingerprinting, we charge $25 or one fingerprint card. Effective July 1, 2010 – AB 346 requires a Department of Justice (DOJ) and a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check for classified school employees or volunteers who are working alone with students in a student activity sponsored by a school district. Below is a sample of the fees for common live scan requests. If your form is not listed, please feel free to give us a call at (760) 401- 3017 and we can give you the total cost for your specific live scan request. Please note that the Requesting Agencies’ FORM BCII 8016, “Request for Live Scan Service” will determine the exact services and fees required.
Some requesting agencies will have billing accounts with the California Department of Justice in which the Applicants are only required to pay for our $49 Live Scan Fingerprint Rolling Fee. This will be referenced on the Live Scan Form BCII 8016 normally titled “Billing Number” or “Agency Billing Number” and is 6 digits in length.
